  • This is the version of Resident Evil to get. There are some additions to this version, however the intro is still censored. Director's Cut still contains the same scary music as the original, Dual Shock has different music, which isn't that good. Highly Recommend!

  • This is a great game with a lot of replay ability.
    Two stories, (Jill, and Chris) and 8 possible endings.
    And it has different skill levels for advanced, or novice players.

    First off...what are you a 5 year old liveing under a rock in some foreign country never heard of by anyone but you and your family? I mean my 2 year old daughter knows what resident evil is, Okay okay I may be being a bit too harsh but this idiocy demands I review so as to keep future 5 year old foreigners from posting rediculous messeges

    Resident evil was created by megaman creators "Capcom" It fallows the story of S.T.A.R.S (Special Tactics and Recon Squad) a police force in a place called Raccoon city, over the past few weeks they had been getting reports of a gang who kills and eats their victoms so S.T.A.R.S sets out to infiltrate their hideout in 2 teams

    The first team went but never reported back so the second team was dispatched as back up, upon arrival Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield (The 2 main characters) descover the first teams remains near a large mansion something else was hidden in the tall grass though, something terrible, and it chased them into the mansion, later on you learn that this "Gang of criminals" Were actually Zombies brought on by an infectious Viral outbreak caused by a sinister group called Umbrella Corp, The game is a survival horror you go around and try to solve the mystery of whats going on while looking for ammo killing zombies and stocking up on health items so you don't get killed in the process, over all one of the best game series I've ever played, hope this helps people who have questions as to what Resident evil is peace out,-Renvald The Technomancer

    getting the endings and uncutting the intro, and is more

    difficult than the others RE, the only bad things about the saga

    of RE is the difficult, every new RE is more easy than the olds ones

  • i got a quick question whats the difference between resident evil dual shock and Directors cut?

  • Renvald, you got to him first ;) I was gonna give a little rant as well. Resident Evil dual shock is so that the controller will rumble when omething happens or when you are getting attacked. Directors cut has some scenes that contain more violence and more gore. If you are interested in playing this on the PSP you must get the non rumble version as the PSP does not support rumble function and will fail to load.

  • It's a shame that we seem to have sold our souls for shiny new graphics now, considering this is still the best out of the whole series.
